Hardware Penetration Testing

A hardware penetration testing is a test of physical hardware. For example, IoT or physical IT enabled devices. These devices are often small systems with unique characteristics that connect to a network or the internet to perform a specific task. They also may have onboard sensors and store data and exchange information.

Physical devices are often overlooked when it comes to security, as the penetration testing industry is not well-versed on testing hardware technology. However, we have performed a decade of security testing on hardware solutions in the operational technology space, government, and the commercial market.

Many embedded devices have not been patched and are running firmware 1-2 years old. This is a huge risk and can be a risk to your organization. Vulnerability scanning is a great way to under stand the threat surface across hardware devices.

Give is a call and we can talk about specialty testing of your hardware devices. We also perform specialty testing on Operational Technology
